Leafing through a dictionary tryna find my name like I'm missing any concept of permanence Playing old games stuck in my own mindspace Just like I played old games on MySpace I'm an OG, looking for a way to see a past life I earn my spot myself and I'm not looking for a new type Writing my own page and staying up all night Just to get a little glimpse into what I modified Alright, let me show you what I been through Caught a lot of hatred from myself for my own view Knew my purview was too blue to be true So I reviewed to try to keep what I knew in my view Adieu! Negativity never holding me back now Whatever I had been to me was folding, its face down But whether societal pressure to educate Or maybe a psychical inkling to meditate On my own inner being, it's mental my state I'm crying out loud and remembering graves The people before me who stood for what I do Were dying in vain as I wasted this redo This is the legacy, this a new avenue This is the life and the death of another view But till my last breath I take pride in no strife These worldly events mean nothing to mine Leafing through a dictionary tryna find my name like I don't really wanna see my fate But I'll face it head on, like a bull, I'll rage And just hope I don't lose out in the exchange But I'm stubborn I'mma keep at it for a minute though Try to build an image that'll take the bad and overgrow Try to make a self that'll work it like a dynamo And maybe eventually reach a final dream of radio
