Seems like a few years now Pacing around our rooms Our eyes are hurting from The pessimistic views We close the curtains shut And always found an excuse Oh what a way To waste my time here with you I just want a restart lately A life without the useless daydreams Get rid of all the shit That we’ve been carrying around All the baggage That keeps slowing us down We used to talk about how Life is too complicated I’ve come to realise now Those were justifications For never trying to escape this quicksand What if a spark is all it takes To make a difference? (Can you feel the sun on your skin?)
