Sad Boy

There once was a sad boy Who lived on his own He had somewhere to stay but never really had a home Till he Met a friend from another world And showed him a new place The sad boy was filled with laughter and had a smile on his face He closed his eyes to take it in “Oh what a wonderful view” Said the boy Who's all alone Cause his new friend left him too And when opened up his eyes He was all alone again See the sad boy was only dreamin And his friend was in his head There once was one a sad girl Who'd look up to the night She'd often dream of better days in hopes that she'd be alright, Cause see the girl was lonely too And wished that she could have a friend Someone who she could daydream with Someone who'd be there till the end When fate didn't go her way she'd just pretend She'd make believe that she had someone And she'd made up a new friend But we she didn't know Is she was only dreaming And when she opened up her eyes She saw her new friend was leaving The sad boy was walking alone On an empty road Till he looked up and saw a face of someone he didn't know The sad boy asked her name and she lifted up her head The lonely girl wiped away her tears cause she'd found a new friend The sad boy found a home and he holds it close at night The lonely girl had found her friend and she'll sleep in his arms tonight
