Each day I set up my act in Johnson square I play my setlist by the fountain there Patrons and passers-by pay minor mind And from time to time they'll throw a dime Into an open case And on this day a woman walks to me She breathes in deeply and sits next to me With a smile she shakes my hand Says she's my biggest fan And with that, she's been wondering: "This melody, enchanting me, I've heard it oh so often, now I've come to see, what does it mean?"
