You wake up early Alarm ringing in your head Supposed to pray but you Hit the snooze instead Rush to pile in the car and your kids are crying, parents fighting Get to church and look like you've got it all together Shaking hands with a smile and an empty blessing Clap your hands and sing 3 Choruses and a hymn Is this all there is to your Christianity? So climb out of your box And meet me where I am I don't need your powerless religion I need to see that your God is real So climb out of your box Climb out of your box Pastor preaching hard and people dreaming about What they're doing after this Nobody's changing cause there's Nobody praying through and Everyone's leaving the same as they came in What would happen if the presence of the Lord Would be welcomed and manifest in us Our hearts would melt and we would listen To His voice and follow His agenda We would see the lost begin to be set free And Christians freed from religiosity Our hearts would melt and we would listen To His voice and follow His agenda Climb out of our box And meet them where they are They don't need a powerless religion They need to see that our God is real So climb out of our box Climb out of our box
