A young girl walks down the road alone, Questions gripping her heart One hand supports the life in her womb While the other brushes a tear from her eye You see she talked to her family just today And they said this child has got to go For it will cost her more if the baby's born But she knows she knows It's a miracle It's a miracle More than the rainbow That arches across the sky More than the sun that brings us light The image of God is being formed in her womb She can see His hand creating new life It's a miracle It's a miracle Some people say someone is not a person Until they breathe their first breath of air I beg to differ but I know one thing for sure That my baby's life is not my choice For I can hear the heartbeat of life I can feel this child growing To be what God has called Him to be And I know, I know It's a miracle It's a miracle More than the rainbow That arches across the sky More than the sun that brings us light The image of God is being formed in my womb I can see His hand creating you It's a miracle It's a miracle
