Some people on the train are hungry Some people on the train are mad Some people on the train are thirsty Some people on the train are sad I am all of the above things That's I'm feeling down Not even another cheese pretzel Could take away this frown Some people on the train are tired Some people on the train are stoked Some people on the train are telling Inappropriate jokes It still beats the bus by a mile No traffic on these rails And people are nodding and smiling all while the crazy man's telling his tales Getting kinda low As we roll through Merced Getting closer to home but there's miles ahead When I get to Bakersfield I'm on the bus again Til then we'll just keep on rolling through Merced Some babies on the train are crying Some people are on the phone Some sleazy dude is lying Some babies' diapers are full I am watching all of these things From the comfort of my seat And no it still doesn't lean back Nope I'll sit and make my beats Yep Getting kinda low As we roll through Merced Getting closer to home but there's miles ahead When I get to Bakersfield I'm on the bus again Til then we'll just keep on rolling through Merced
