I never write down my best ideas In my head I'm a star On paper I'm anything but Everything I've done I want to be his In my head I'm following But on my feet I am not Got a letter in the mail, who cares what it had to say Sure didn't have anything that I wanted You'd all be damned if I had it my way We'd all be nice to each other but you'd think "that sucks" I think my pen broke... is that a metaphor? Nah Unless that's what you really wanted I think my heart broke... is your heart broke? Or is that just your wallet?
