Metamorphosis

It started off when I came home All I wanted then was to be alone These past seven years feel like such a blur It's not clear how we ended up here But I guess I'll never know When I lost myself in the changes I just can't tell if I'll feel the same way Think I need something to believe in I'll try anything Just to feel again What I fear is I can't control this Metamorphosis Of the times I'll miss It starts to feel like treading water Going nowhere but I'm not so sure I wish I could see what the future's holding for me Or the person I'll be Oh but I won't ever know The things that I did aren't the same And I wonder if I'll remember my name Think I need something to believe in I'll try anything Just to feel again What I fear is I can't control this Metamorphosis Of the times I'll miss
