Crisp & Clear

When I wake up in the morning I open up my eyes and see Shining through the window A sun that hurts my eyes It's then I realize what I have been seeking Starting off a brand new day Though discouragements of past may follow I have come to understand There will always be things that aren't the way we'd planned If I were to wake up aware of pains to come Would it still leave me with questions unanswered And so many want to seek truth But if all were crisp and clear would I be satisfied or would it crush my mind So many people dodge the stillness They're always chasing after change Well that also goes for silence There always seems to be a never ending thirst for noise But with all this pointless sound Can you ever really hear the sweet music in the distance It may be hard to understand but standing still may be the answer to your troubles Will the shadows of the curtains conceal the light of days Like a message distorted now unrecognizable And so many want to seek truth But if all were crisp and clear would I be satisfied or would it crush my mind
