Night falls And the stars revolve around me Clouds form And extend as far as the eye can see And then suddenly I'm delighted by the chords and harmonies Am I asleep Or am I experiencing life euphorically It's like I'm in heaven When I lay my head to sleep I hope that this feeling never ends Don't wake me up I know that this dream is meant to be reality Don't wake me up I know that my purpose in life's been revealed to me I'm on cloud nine And a choir of angels surround me This shit is a whole vibe And I'm glad I get to bring you with me I'm never coming down Cause down there I'm just a number or a machine I'm chilling, safe and sound And to think all of this had started with a dream Oh, it's like I'm in heaven When I lay my head to sleep I hope that this feeling never ends Don't wake me up I know that this dream is meant to be reality Don't wake me up I know that my purpose in life's been revealed to me I've spent my whole life Trying to start a garden from one small seed And now I'm starting to see The fruits of my tree grow abundantly There's only one way I'm going I'm gonna get higher and higher and higher If this ride takes days, months, or years That's fine with me (And so, we find ourselves at the end of our journey Looking at life through the eyes of a dreamer brings a whole new perspective to life, doesn't it?
