Angst, Pt. 2

I was tryna chase bliss Really had me runnin' in circles I've been feelin' anxious Still, it has me jumpin' these hurdles And though I live with my anxieties Can't minimize this light in me 'Cause He'd given up His life for me Paid the price, I'm free (Yeah, yeah, what?) My apprehension was badly mentioned on "disarray" (Yup) Like, these surroundin' pressures felt mad intense for a kid my age (So true) Adolescence had quickly changed, matter of seconds Had for some stressin', sadly, I guess it affected in bigger ways Well, in other news, I finally chose a side of the picket fence (Yeah) Aberrations in lenses, there's more to life than my picture says (*snap*) Captured days in the poor light, a miracle if you ask me (Focus) So here, we gon' take it back, see, before I'd find the religious text That changed my life (Amen), I had no sword to defend with So I would make up lies (So true), and then implore any brethren (*sigh*) Had an argumentative spirit, my mind would overcorrect it And I was slow was to detect that, like, I was so codependent (I still am) If God ain't chose to reveal this, Lord knows where it would'a led, was (Who knows?)
