Built the house with our own four hands Hopes and dreams instead of plans Buy a rug just to hide the dirt Never knew how much a word could hurt Built the walls up around ourselves Put the windows in their place Lock the roof down to keep us warm Oh we forgot the door, is it suppose to be that way?
