Oh, Fine

Oh fine Is what I'm telling you half the time When you ask about my life How can I lie and say that I'm fine? Begin to question my circumstance Never feel I belong where I'm at Always caught in a deep dumb trance Then I blink and my life changes just like that It's hard to be real with my friends I might be stuck but it could be worse Eventually there's a means to an end There's gotta be a way to break this curse I haven't hit rock bottom yet I still have pleasant thoughts every now and then That might be as good as I'm gonna get But I'm fine On neon nights like this I breathe the intoxicating air My plans go ablaze I stare in its irradiating flare Climb out of the abyss It doesn't have to follow me around And when things get bleak I can't be the one that's always down Oh fine At least I honestly am sometimes Still have warm colors shine These dismal days are not my prime Oh I'm fine As long as I got nature by my side And the chemicals in my mind At least for now I'm gonna be just fine I'm fine
