Emotional Ties

I just can’t put my finger on it/ Like girl to be honest I’m just disappointed/ I seen more in you/ And this coulda just been avoided/ It boils down to choices/ So even if the pot too hot/ You gotta cool on it/ Who knew you’d make a move on me/ Honestly I didn’t mean to make you feel lonely/ But I didn’t deserve you creeping and cheating on me/ I shoulda known from the way that she started speaking on me/ And speaking to me/ You act like you was perfect/ Did you even love me/ (Did you even love me) Yea I did what I did/ But that was after the fact/ So you can’t even blame me/ You bought them spirits in our home/ Thats why we were spiritually growing/ You thought that you would keep me out from knowing/ But I figured you out/ And thats what all this shit is about/ Im looking at you differently now/ I was giving you chances/ And all I really wanted was answers/ Im doing what it take to get passed this/ Everything we did was the past tense/ It was no holds barres/ And still after all this girl, theres no love lost/ But you don’t get it/ In the face of the truth/ You won’t admit it/ And still pointing fingers because your guilty/ You need to own up to your own and stop using me as a crutch/ It wasn’t just me it was us/ I cried a million tears and you aint shed not one out your eyes/ Guess you was cutting emotional ties/ On an emotional highway/ Traveling 200 miles per hour/ So I could feel what go through ya mind/ We had no foundation/ We were strangers and thats just the way that life made it / No excuses for the way you played me/ If you was women enough for anybody to hit/ Then you was women enough to get up out of my shit/ If I’m so horrible then why you keep on reaching out/ If I am what you said, then whats there to speak about/ I wasn’t as bad as you making it seem/ I been waking up because you in my dreams and I fucking hate it/ You just like your father and you know it/ You knew the pain/ Whatever that you reaping girl you sow it/ You know the game/ We was supposed to have a future together/ I didn’t know that I would lose you forever so now I’m coping/ On top of that you didn’t protect I’m in the open/ On top of that you didn’t respect me and girl you showed it/ We was supposed to keep it between us but you couldn’t/ Honesty is something you could never do good with/
