They hold up signs, they scream and shout But they never seem to figure it out Feeding on headlines, takin' the bait Hooked on a story that tells 'em who to hate Liberal tears, drownin' in lies Blinded by screens, never askin' why Bound by their rules, truth in disguise Can't think for themselves, just followin' the lines Every day's like a rerun show Same script, same lines, they’re told where to go Programmed to fear, never to doubt Locked in a world where no one breaks out Oh, liberal tears, pourin' down fast Eyes closed tight, livin' in the past Tellin' themselves that they’re in the right But can’t see the darkness in their own light What if they stopped, just took a pause Questioned the leaders and their “cause” But they don’t want truth, don’t wanna know So they just sit back and let it all flow Yeah, liberal tears, wash it away Caught in a storm of what they obey Blind to the lies that hold 'em tight Ideology’s prison, keepin’ 'em light They cry and they cry, but never see Trapped in a cage, thinkin’ they’re free So let the tears fall, let ‘em soak I’ll be right here, watchin’ the joke
