Treating Me Well

I ain’t sayin I’m the Lead but my league prevails I’m hungry For a dream can you tell? I’ll be makin hits Rain till they ring the bell (bell sound) In school I played a little Jazz so my swinging is swell (baseball sound$) Put years in the Craft skills treating me well Vocals the brass and the Timpani swells And mixing as well My bag of tricks like I Wished on a well, but blood Sweat and tears went in the The spell Been speaking on Things I used to keep in a jail So yeah I guess I been Learning how freedom can sell Nature or Nurture it’s tricky to tell Just tryna flip a good Burger like Keenan and Kel A Lil introvertred, No secrets to spill But I been spitting each Verse like I needed to tell I just needed a grill and Now speeding I’m round Curves reinventing the will I still remember how them Middle school days went Back then band Class was every other day They hardly knew when I got Braces in the 7th grade Barely talked, people mainly heard me if they Heard me play Struggled through re Citals with a nervous face
 A prime example, every Body starts somewhere Even back then I knew the Future didn’t compare and I just gotta keep going cuz Life can be unfair But I’m thankful for Things I’ve received Climbing up the stairs A lotta life between Full time and Double dares A lotta life between Where I’m going and Where I am Musically can either Sink a three or dunk it in Used to wonder why but now I Think I finally understand That’s why you Always see me push the pen
