Nobody Visits on Weekends

Don't look at me I haven't eaten without my teeth before I'm still getting used to the taste I once made a name for myself I had the vigor to conquer anything My stride was never broken by any missteps Don't look at me I haven't walked with this cane before I'm still getting used to this gait I could once climb mountains I could once dance all night My days were always filled with fire Screaming down the stairs that I built Each step hits harder than the last I've been in this bed for weeks They keep feeding me this tasteless food The doctor said I may walk again I just want to get back home
