I can't tell you what it means to be an artist If I'm being honest Almost 5 years later and it still feels like I'm getting started Went from day dreaming bout music to making loosies in apartments All they can say bout the movements is that they're so damn inspiring At the end of the day, it's like the end of the road Dawn on my midnight themed apparel just to hang up my coat I know I'll cruise past every hand that's down to give a leg up This lazy river's a lil bit quicker since I learned how to float Watch 'em waving by the wayside, water washing up the beach Cold-playing making pillars in the sand that topple steep Lonely puppet but this time I found a way to shake the strings Viva la vida, but who would ever wanna be king? Heart on my sleeve, hair on head, SK on my chest Late to save the day but bet I'm there, tomorrow or the next I guess the problems are just all in my head I guess Metropolis's as good as it gets It's just as good as it gets In service to the music first, Mr. Outmaneuver the universe I keep on shooting for the different moons of Jupiter But every night I end up sitting glued to my computer Watching movies wishing I could trade it all for a Future verse Mr. How's He Gonna Move the Earth? Expecting different hues to burst from cruising through the usual movements He pursued but never soothed the urge To light a blunt and lose himself inside until he choose to emerge So how could I provide a vibe that paints an image Of the bottles I've acquired inside 'em a different message The islands from which they drifted the sides of me lying dormant inside, nestled within these planets I'll never visit They can't see from outside Looking back I know I couldn't believe that I was gifted Sifting through my facades said never have I acquired A me that I didn't think wouldn't be worth the harder feelings
