Why is it the people you love that are never satisfied Are you speaking, eating, breathing enough Is it just the way you crack at every needlepoint that makes lovers fearful of their every word Or is it the way you break down At every shout that is sometimes even a mistaken whisper Maybe they just can't handle the way your mind runs wild butterflies - flying from the sun's hot rays Maybe they can't handle the suffocation - of your problems engulfing them in something they never signed up for You can't expect them to be there all the time Every time you wanna slip away you rely on that hand to pull you up over the water What happens on the day the no-hand comes down You're going to drown And maybe that's the way it should be That's something people would probably pay attention to And you can't expect them to understand why you are this way Mainly because, you don't even understand yourself And you don't trust yourself When your mind goes black And your hands do things that you only daydream about The most painful thing is realizing you are poison to the people you love And the second worst thing, Is realizing that the people you love, hate the way that you infect them And unfortunately, infection is forever
