recovery

I promised myself that I'd be better by spring Answered all of their questions, but is anybody listening Feel like I am better, but I just fall back down Don't know how to recover, but everyone says Honey, you'll figure it out To some it's not real, and it is just all pretend They think that I have control, but really all I wanna do is make it end They just can't see what goes on in my head As I sit here awake, ten hours on end Don't know what I'm doing, but apparently, I'm doing something right Don't know how to recover, but they say Honey, you will be alright So spring rolls around and I'm exactly the same Guess you could call it the bad guy on the last level of a video game It's impossible to beat At this point, it's got me on my knees Don't know what else I can do It's like I've given up my life to you As winter rolls around and I'm sitting on my own I think that you have made your point What else can I show Go ahead, take whatever you can reach All I can ask is that you leave one part of me Next year at this time, I hope it won't be the same I don't know what else I can do to win this endless game I just want the answer book right now Just have to keep your calm or hearts will get too loud Back to reality Slow your heart Don't know how I'm gonna recover But they say honey, you'll figure it out
