My favorite month has come The wind of May took you away Now I wish I could never see That beautiful time, the end of our spring The blossom of hearts,the river of love Have been drained like it's nothing to lose The years of care, the ocean of tears Are forgotten like it's never been true Oh how I wish I could wake up and it was a dream Oh how I wish you could show me your care Oh how I wish you were there But words have power to kill when you don't make them real Never knew I could be the one To give up on it, saying goodbye But I couldn't suppress the voice Saying I don't deserve to be your second choice And in the end it was our biggest mistake I gave all of me, and you gave me hope I've learned to give, and you've learned to take But no reason left to blame our love It was a beautiful dream but it's time to wake up
