Train Station

Each day goes by and still, people, they just walk on by I feel like they're selectively blind But I carry on hoping Hoping that they'll notice me Can't you see that i'm alone, waiting on a stone pavement, again? Again I'm just part of this train station Countless times, people meet each other And i'm waiting for this train The train that never stops This train that I got off The train that'll take me away, one day Business men, with their briefcases and designer clothes And i'm stuck here by the coffee shop An endless circle of hope being lost Children share smiles I remember when. was a child I wish I could be happy like them, happy again Countless times, people meet each other And i'm waiting for this train The train that never stops This train that I got off The train that'll take me away, one day If someone turned around They held out their hand And offered me a ticket, offered me a ticket I would take it and run to the nearest train and start again But they didn't, no, they never do And they never will but they could But they didn't, no, they never do And they never will but they could (But they didn't...)
