Have I fallen into the night? Left everything that's bright? Are my friends long gone? Did I do something wrong? As I walk through these halls Slight anxiety crawls With swarming conversations sounding like a fake applause Some people say hi With a voice so dry I try to puzzle together if it's the truth or a lie I find good friends Then I'm paranoid about groups Old friendships may end And the patterns may loop All I want is a partner to hold I'm so sick and tired of being lonely in the cold All these people Chasing trends Less emotion Less old friends All these people Fell into black holes Less human soul More artificial goals Have I fallen into the night?
