Daydream

Waking in the light I slip into your coffee brown eyes Passed the time, I’d try To drive against the temporal tide Getting lost again Waiting 'til the end I can hear my shadow Never let me drown Forgetting all I am The more I think, the less I understand I painted pictures in the sky And now I’m falling back into the night I lost myself In the rotation Who the f*ck am I Just my imagination This is the cycle Losing myself to feed the machine No control Creeping so slow Gone before my time Living a life that isn't mine I seem to be Stuck in a daydream
