After Life

All I am is a rolling stone All I have will slowly erode Time isn't kind when you get old The body gets brittle as we near the end Fading away like the days we've spent Trying to find the slightest sign of meaning Oh I always came up empty handed But take me away to a better place Make me believe that no one truly leaves Tell me that faith is what will set us free So I can explain how it won't change a thing Don't you know it won't change a thing It won't change a thing All I want is another chance But all we get is one shot at this Life is a test that can't be rewritten It seems with your answers more questions are brought The cancer of thought will bring you closer to God And all that we're left with is all that we're taught Oh how much longer can this go on So take me away to a better place Make me believe that no one truly leaves Tell me that faith is what will set us free So I can explain how it won't change a thing I think if seeing is believing Then I believe that your beliefs are leading us blind I think if seeing is believing Then I believe that your beliefs are leading us blind But I hope you are right And I hope I am wrong Cause an after life Is an easier pill to swallow Than knowing everything will be gone
