READY FOR CHURCH

Sunday morning I open my eyes Hop out of bed then realize Time to get ready, yes ready for church Getting Ready for church Make my breakfast and eat some food Brush my teeth I am looking good I am ready, ready for church Getting ready, yes ready for church Put on my best suit and brush my hair Looking slick they will see me there Now I am, ready for church Getting ready, ready for church Grabbed the bible blow off the dust Got to look good it is a must I am ready, yes for church Getting ready for church I park outside see all my friends Then I stop to comprehend I am not ready, ready for God No not ready, ready for God I may look good and feeling fine On the inside I have given no time To the Father, the Father of all Not to the Father, the Father of all I sit for ages, head in my hands Repenting Lord I am a selfish man Getting ready, ready for God Getting ready ,ready for God Be ready for God not just for church
