Who I Need To Be

Who I need to be Is something that I'm not Every day seems to be a challenge I'm even doubting myself when it comes to releasing this album However when I think of what I had to do to release this project I'm kind of in disbelief That I went out of my way to continue with this project After how much doubt and anxiety I had towards others opinions of it But it's okay I feel proud, excited It's something I can claim as mine and that's Something to celebrate After feeling so lost and drained these last 4 years I kept working at it And now you've listened to it And I hope you've enjoyed it And I hope you can take something from this That you can set out to find and do something that truly makes you happy Something that gets you away from how you've been feeling Something you can look back at, even through the rough times, and be proud of your Progress Anyway, I hope that one day I can be who I need to be But for now, I am who I want to be I'll leave you with this Four years later I still don't have my priorities straight I'm tryna stay youthful and be with people that got the same vibe Although I don't talk to many people and I still got problems comprehending why Tryna get past personal limits while memories of my passions and shortcomings echo in my head No longer dealing with the lies from deceitful people and I wonder if karma has to do with it Tryna have a set notion and at least try to be who I need to be The most important thing that I learned from all of this Is that I gotta remember who I am and be a good influence to others That's who I need to be Thank you
