Life throws everything I keep pushing it back It slips down my throat Like the pills my mom thinks I should have kept taking Routine is all we are Routine keeps us unified Silent Routine makes me sick every morning It doesn't let me off the hook The game of life doesn't pause when I cry Even though I crossed over a bunch of times by now I can only conjure up a few times it really hit me I get hit by the realization that I am living someone else's life From time to time I stare at all of you I like to do a little research to see how a bunch of you make it through I never know what to look for I can see the cracks on your beautiful face We look alike You seem tired I feel tired too It doesn't show as much I have more aging to do I guess we both gotta grow up
