Fading Away

It feels like I'm constantly under the thumb of something Media The social one Dopamine on an all time high Flooding my neuron inbox with junk Even as I'm writing this I feel enslaved to it Addicted I need rehab It's like I'm forever searching for the answer to a question that has no answer Father help me out this mess Some times we get caught up in the world wide web And wonder how time flies Don't you realize We got caught by the creature that's had all it's eyes on us Hoping to catch us with the flies in its web Don't you get it Your it's food Instead of feeding your mind as a consumer You're the food for the web I don't like this It feels like the value of my soul fades the more time I spend online
