We feed ourselves By scrolling through our feed online But somehow the hunger diminishes And now we're just binging Turning into beer belly uncles and aunties at young ages But we can't bear to face our faces in the mirror Because we know we're intoxicated by social liquor We feed ourselves By scrolling through our feed online Only to throw back up the poison perceptions we've digested Left in a messy state Smelly breaths of drunk liars invading our space and whistling in our ears Trying to make us slumber with their utter gutter garbage If home is where the heart is Maybe we're homeless Maybe our hearts have been taken from us Or maybe we traded it For like ...erm Maybe we traded it for like erm... For likes We can no longer afford to feed ourselves So now we're stuck begging for the attention of someone so generous enough to give it to us We don't have an appetite And it's leading to a sickness I've definitely lost mine Literally Maybe I'm just being lazy and can't be asked to cook and I'm more conscious about my weight But now the feed is too much weight for me And I'm getting a headache The other day I hopped off socials for just under a week And I felt strong Oh man I felt peace We feed ourselves By scrolling through our feed online Trying to strategize in the marketplace I'm just not sure whether we'll like what we find
