She’s got problems since the day she’s born flying high from her past, like a tiny bird in the storm living her bad side reckless in the night trashing gifts trying hard just to survive Hard to see, scratching patterns in her skin Seeking to free the pain that’s buried deep within Hope she’ll make it to witness brighter skies Cause in those crystal eyes, I only see / her better side and I only see her better side a broken girl just dying to survive wish I could save her from her busted world and the dark places in her mind but I only see her better side Pray she endures , break on through the storm Live beyond repeated words, Sorry she was born Petrified little girl, pills take some pain away Wonder how long she’ll make it here, and if she decides to stay Lost in her own world, secret places that she hides But no matter what she does, I only see/ her better side and I only see her better side a broken girl just dying to survive wish I could save her from her busted world and the dark places in her mind but I only see her better side I know she’ll endure , break on through the storm Outlive repeated words that’s she’s sorry she was born There’s strength in that little girl, I won’t let her hide Cause I believe in her better side
