Work of the Lord (Psalm 77)

Will the lord reject forevermore Will he keep his favor from my life? Has he held from us the love he swore? Has he changed his gift of grace to strife? When I cannot sleep or close my eyes When my mind can't find the words to pray In the night my song will repeat the cry That my heart longs for the voice to say I will remember The wonderful work of the LORD Though the past my pain it seemed his will The past it calls to me with this appeal The hand of God draws me closer still Through any pain or doubt that I might feel The ways of your splendor My mind forever will adore For your ways O God are holy
