I see the world In colours and shapes I feel your heartbeat Next to my face And I think how lucky I am Then I wake up Into darkness again I hate the fact that I can't seem to find An equilibrium of mind The colours and the shapes Reprise my mood And the thought of your face Is like Soul Food I wonder how I live here Day by day Trapped inside my thoughts A sprinkling of hate Am I qualified to figure out my mind? Am I really sure what happiness means? I don't wanna live where the sun doesn't shine And the hope has disappeared out of my mind
