Where I'm From

Wheels are turning, a different state per hour And I feel lonely, but it's not the kind of lonely where I'm from Airport lobbies were once a strange attraction Now feel homely, but it's not the kind of homely where I'm from So here I sit, trying to find my place from hotel rooms in different states Where I've been away, trying to make a name of something that's losing it's flames And I just want to go home I've been changing, I've learned to live and let go of ever knowing if everything will all turn out alright 'Cause part of knowing where you're going would be a check off the list I swear exists And I think I just want to know where I'm going So here I sit, trying to find my place from hotel rooms in different states Where I've been away, trying to make a name of something that's losing it's flames And I just want to go home
