Reflection

Hmm See I've been reflecting on the reflection in the mirror And this is what I came up with See I'm steady asking questions Yeah I said I'm steady asking questions See I'm steady asking questions Like where am I supposed to be I got a good job Never went to school got no degree I got a great wife and a great life So I wonder what the heck is wrong with me I'm searching for some things And I D K Just what they be But I be saying Come to me come to me come to me come to me See I said it a couple times just so you can get me Mid 20's and you know that I'm feeling urgency Will I get the whip I want or will I fail with currency Will my songs make an impact or do they listen as a courtesy You know currently I'm contemplating school was I fool For thinking classes were too much of a duel And that I never ever had the right tool But then again would I be here if I followed that route I meant route but you know just what I'm about See I'm clever with the words I got love for the music so I put it out to the world They're work of arts But in those things Man I find no worth See my true value is in the hands of The Lord And I'm connected to him like a cord When things pop off His love grace and peace overflows like a bottle with no cork So when I'm steady staring in the mirror I see the love of Christ even clearer And I'm content with where He's brought me to And in these 25 years yeah He taught me to Persevere Through the valleys of my doubt Til I rise to the mountain where I shout And proclaim the goodness of The Lord Yeah Imma proclaim the goodness of The Lord Yeah For I am confident in this That He who began the good work in you Will carry it on to completion Until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6 Blessed Regardless man Too blessed I stay Blessed Yeah
