Lord, take me up to that mountain Where I can hear you clearer Encounter after encounter with Your Holy Spirit Yeah, my worship is a fragrance Meditate on these Scriptures Intoxicated off your presence Lord, I don't need no liquor Weeping may endure for a night But joy comes in the morning Create in me a new clean heart And fill my cup until it's overflowing I remember when You called my name a new creation I could never be the same You search my heart and know my pain And You deliver me so I'm gon' have to sing my praise Goodness and mercy shall follow me all of the days of my life And I would dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever and ever He leads me beside the still waters Jesus restores my soul I was wicked, drug addicted Ended up in prison And I never listened to my dad or to my mother I had a wounded spirit I thought that I was finished But the Lord cleaned me up and He brought me out the gutter I've been around some killers, them gangsters and them thugs Just to find out that the streets ain't got no love Overdosed off the alcohol and drugs but the Lord spared my life And He showed me love When I thought I lost it all The Lord showed up and saved me He will put all your tears in a bottle and save them Goodness and mercy shall follow me all of the days of my life And I would dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever and ever He leads me beside the still waters Jesus restores my soul
