Before asking anything You have to read the word God always hears prayers Let's first learn to listen For every gift of speech By the grace of God That has been given to you While we wait for the risen Christ Christ comes to forgive And to wash away our sins Because the cross is not in vain Follow Jesus and you do not stop As the world has known to him Because Christ conquered death He could have chosen but he chose That cross for you As the world has known to him Because Christ conquered death He could have chosen but he chose That cross for you I presented my back to the scourgers Cheek to those who tore my beard I have not removed my face From many insults and many spits The Lord God assists me Therefore I am not confused For this I make my face hard as stone Knowing not to be disappointed
