Mirrors

I placed some mirrors in my mind Thought that I could theorize But I could only see in black and white And I got so terrified I looked for all the silver lines Determine what is what It left me open, undefined I felt myself deconstruct Operating from my ego But I’m trying to disconnect I wonder where do we go The unknown has that effect I’ve tried to fix by overthinking Why do I over-analyze But for the time being I’ll keep these mirrors in my mind Now I’m sifting through the vacant signs Tell myself that it’s enough But I know these feelings won’t align With everything I think I want And just burning through the days Uncovering decay I’m tryna feel some way That’s different than before Operating from my ego But I’m trying to disconnect I wonder where do we go The unknown has that effect I’ve tried to fix me just with “thinking" Always over-analyze But for the time being I’ll keep these mirrors in my mind
