Sunken Sun

The sun swings violently Before setting still Rests, vertiginous Above my window sill With colors clear and stark A disappearing spark It settles, sinking slow, well Little did I know That you We like the sun Would keep me waiting For so long And like a pendulum The silver glow Reflecting from the moon Begins to grow With nothing to contrast But stretching shadows cast A time when darkness shows, well Little did I know That you Sunken sun Would keep on burning When you're gone
