Four in the morning wishing you were somebody you're not Quietly force myself to sleep while you leave me here to rot Are you distracted sorry is your mind with someone else All of the places on his skin that you touch and never tell And you say it's in my head but I just can't shake this feeling that you've covered up even more than you've let on I asked you if you love him and you started to cry You said that it's been hard but I don't think that you tried Was kissing other men a better use of your time well I don't care whatever doesn't make it better That you were getting hammered every night when I thought That you just needed sleep because the day was a lot I honoured your requests and gave you all you could want but I don't think it mattered doesn't make it better That you smell like his perfume Did it happen in this room Can you look me in the face and say the truth I wanna know So if you wanna leave then leave tomorrow cus' it's killing me that it hurts to let you go I asked you if you hate me and you started to cry You said that you don't blame me but you kinda wish I Would disappear and make all this a victimless crime Disappear forever that would be my pleasure And maybe while I'm at it I can help you forget That you did any damage so you never reflect And sure I'll tell my therapist that you were the best So lucky that I met her that'll make it better
