Cat (Free to Be Me)

Well they told me I could be anything I want A boy or a girl or a cat You can identify as masculine or feminine or both But I don't believe that's where it's at Told me I can change gender whenever I like That truth can be what fits in my space But if truth can morph and change just depending on my moods Then it never was truth in the first place! Oh oh oh, twisted wisdom that, Oh oh oh, makes no sense at all Oh oh oh, it's time that we faced the truth I'm gonna stand on the truth of God's Word And be just who He made me to be They can fight and accuse me and attack if they want But in my heart, I'm gonna be free I'm gonna stand on the truth of God's Word Gonna love them, even if they don't agree As I trust and obey the Word of my Lord I am free... Free to be me! Well they told me I can sleep with anyone I want And take in any drug that I choose And they told me all it was my God-given right But it seems to me that all they do is lose So If God is love, I can sin all I want I can twist the Bible so it fits me But their logic is flawed and their promises fake Coz I notice none of them are truly free!
