In the business of life It is sometimes hard to find the light In the craziness of living People take, but feels like I keep giving But You call me to Your side To sit and rest a while with You Leave behind my foolish pride Time to rest, read Your Word and give my pain to You You're the light upon my soul You're the One who makes me whole I must stop (And wait) to reconnect my soul to You You're the joy that fills my heart And You call me come apart Take the time to stop and reconnect my soul to You In the brokenness of pain All I see is loss, but You see gain In the agony of what they say and do I can show them grace, if I turn to You So You call me, come apart Forgiving them will set me free, then You can mend my aching heart And breathe Your Holy Spirit, power and love and mercy into me You're the light upon my soul You're the One who makes me whole I must stop and wait to reconnect my soul to You You're the joy that fills my heart And You call me come apart Take the time to rest and reconnect my soul to You
