Rebirth Chaos She placed my mangled mind on her bosom As the rest of me lied between her thighs I am reminded of everything that has given me life And in utter control She could have had her way with me Vulnerable, Damaged, Exposed, Feeble Weak, Lost, Worn, Muffled Beat, Unguarded, Dysfunctional Languorous, Indolent, Hasty, Rash Off On In all of this she knew of But in her wondrous glory She had stroked my calm character gently Caressed my ego Pacified my past perils And spoke power into that which is great in me She had given me life But this one different Not through birth followed by the feeding of the bosom But indeed I was born again And with all that I accept that I am indebted to her Forever Rebirth Order All men owe women Women tend to a physical birth of children While men totally tend to a creative birth Of what we cater to in the same light as children Being that we don't conceive physically In each season of my life Whether it be tragedy or triumph There has been a woman That has identified and addressed the power within me That even I couldn't see And for that Thank you
