Minute Alone

I've been stuck in my ways All the acts that I've played "I'm sorry" its too late It usually ends the same But I'm opening my eyes For the very first time I can give you a break If you give me the same No more lies, no more shame Its a beast that I've tamed Try to change, but its not over night It takes more work and stress And I still don't feel right Looking out at the trees Get a feeling of ease I don't know what it means If it means anything Anything I search for meaning to try and make it all make sense And when I end up stuck, I lose my friends And since I need a minute alone But I don't want to be alone at all And give me some space So I can go into freefall I've lost my way I'm trying to find my way back home So give me some space I only need a minute alone
