I walk into a dark room Not quite sure what I'll find I go in there for some privacy and some alone time I think that I'm the only one around And in reality it's true, But in my mind on repeat Is memories of me and you I try to revert my thoughts Or my heart will break again, But nothing seems to work now Now that we've reached the end Neon faces in a dark room Remind me of the past, Neon faces in a dark room Remind me of what couldn't last, Faces bright and glowing Just like the winter moon, They're telling me that I can't move on And suddenly I think what more was there to do? What did I do wrong to upset you? Could I have said some magic words, To save what we had? Or was this all just in my head?
