The Sea of Self-Hatred

Drowning in an endless sea Sinking under the waves of darkness The tides of self hatred are becoming too high Left to suffer inside The nightmares reign the inside of me I thought I could not fall much further But I have only left the surface I can't stand the shadow staring back at me All I can see when I look in the mirror Is nothing but a broken figure They say that time heals all the wounds But my thoughts remain Been through so many changes But I'm still paralysed in pain Always doubting myself Knowing I'm never enough Overthinking everything Beyond anxious I could stay afloat If I don't have to carry the weight of my thoughts Living in a façade Filled with remorse The nightmares reign the inside of me I thought I could not fall much further But I have only left the surface I can't stand the shadow staring back at me All I can see when I look in the mirror Is nothing but a broken figure
