Yeah, I've seen it all, watched my friends fall To the Allor of drugs, standing tall and standing small But I never gave in, I stayed true to my path While they crumbled to addiction, feeling the aftermath I watched my friends drown in that toxic haze But I chose a different route, I chose brightful days I never touched the drugs, I stayed clean and true Watching all my friends change, I knew what to do They were seeking escape, looking for a high But little did they know, it would make their dreams die Peer pressure knocking, temptations all around But I stayed strong, I held my ground, never went down I saw their smiles fade, their souls grow weak Their potential erased, as drugs made them speak But I stayed focused, pursued my own path Watching them crumble, it fuelled my righteous wrath I watched my friends drown in that toxic haze But I chose a different route, I chose brightful days I never touched the drugs, I stayed clean and true Watching all my friends change, I knew what to do I stood at the sidelines, witnessing the pain While they chased the high, I grew stronger to my domain Their lives spiralled down, mine ascended high I made the choice to soar to touch the sky I'm not judging the struggle, I'm not casting the blame But I couldn't let their choices define my own name I stayed focused on my dreams, my purpose and sight Resisting the temptation, staying true with all my might I watched my friends drown in that toxic haze But I chose a different route, I chose brightful days I never touched the drugs, I stayed clean and true Watching all my friends change, I knew what to do So I stand here today, a testament of strength Knowing that my choices led me to the better length To all my friends lost, I hope they find their way But I'm grateful I stayed true, keeping drugs at bay
