Restless silence Underneath bloodred sky When the sun is drowning Behind black forests From a distance they seem To have burst in flames But do not crack Under the pressure of fire They only silently observe The sun dying along with them Final dusk time sets And the deep wrinkles That are engraved By the flow of time Into those carrying the memories Will grow old no more Just like the sun's face Will appear never again A mighty dark tide Rolling through the horizon Like heavy lava Tearing the last rays Of light to pieces And casting them Into the abyss of nothingness Forest figures petrify Into nameless gravestones Towering to the sky In deep eternal night
