What happened to the times when we weren't afraid to die? When we stood for what is right Not darkness over light Never lose all hope The sun still rises We're living in a backwards world Where you can't think for yourself, just do what you're told No matter what you hear or what you believe There are still so many eyes open that truly see I see it all, and I see right through Through the lies Through the deception Through the divisiveness We will all stand together in the end Awakening the masses Set ablaze the puppet masters Break free from the chains Never settle for life as a slave The ignorance to reason is the only thing I'm seeing A nation of the dead with dollar signs on their heads I see through the fallacy, refuse to quit and die Life in a land of make believe, stop feeding on the lies Stop feeding on the lies Stop feeding on the lies Pick it up Return back to the times when for your family you would die When you stood for what is right You won't back down from the fight Keep your eyes open Stay true to yourself
